Who Are We?

 

We provide master classes for string musicians at the start of their careers. Students apply online and are selected based on an audition process. In addition to their participation in master classes, the students have the opportunity to perform at concerts that we organize and that are open to members of the public.

 

In order to provide these services, we collect certain personal data from applicants. The controller of that data is the Česko-Rakouský Hudební  a Vzdělávaci Spolek Slavonice, z.s., whose principal place of business is Dačická 483, 378 81, Slavonice, Czech Republic.

 

We process all such data in accordance with the EU General Data Protection Regulations.

 

What personal data do we collect?

 

We collect personal data from each applicant that we need to assess their suitability for our master classes, and to be able to communicate with them, such as name; residential address; email address; telephone number; photograph; audio and video recording; curriculum vitae; and justification for participation in the program. If a student is accepted into our master classes, we may take photographs, video or audio recordings of them playing that we subsequently use on our website or in promotional material about the master classes. When they perform at concerts that we organize, we publish their names in the concert programs. We may also publish testimonials that they provide on our website. We do these things only with the express consent of the students. We will retain that personal data that we receive from applicants for up to three years from the date on which we receive it.

 

Who do we share the personal data with?

 

The information that we receive may be shared with instructors in the master classes and with board members. We will not share that information with other third parties.
